Cleanship Solutions Adds Inventory of Hazardous Material Capability

As part of our continued dedication to being shipowners and operators’ trusted advocate in achieving environmental compliance, Cleanship Solutions is delighted to announce the arrival of Stuart A. McKenna to our team of compliance experts.

Stuart is a qualified naval architect and considered an industry expert on ship recycling and production of Inventories of Hazardous Materials (IHM) – something most vessels will require to have in place by end of 2020, thanks to the EU’s Ship Recycling Regulation.

Chris McMenemy, Managing Director, notes: “We are extremely excited to have Stuart join us and bring with him over 5 years of specialist ship recycling and IHM experience. The addition of IHM services complements our existing capabilities and our dedication to being shipowners and operators’ one stop shop for achieving environmental compliance..”

Cleanship Solutions is now continuing to disrupt the compliance industry by offering combined retrofit vessel surveys & 3D scanning with an IHM. “Why pay for two or three different teams to mobilise to each vessel independently when Cleanship can carry out a ballast water management, scrubber and IHM survey all in one visit?” Notes Mr McMenemy.

Cleanship Solutions claim to offer owners and operators savings of over £10,000 per vessel by following such an approach…
